Poetry Readings
A strong belief that poetry only comes alive when it is read aloud, has led Campbell Kay to perform his poetry at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe as well as giving readings in colleges, community centres, libraries, pubs, schools and universities; and, as a visiting poet, he has has participated in creative writing sessions at a maximum security prison.

Praise for Campbell Kay in performance
"Campbell Kays versatility as a poet and playwright was apparent as he explored love, loss and loneliness from Devils' Wine and Letters From Venice, his collections of poetry. A more sinister side was portrayed in Phoenix Rising his work about D.H.Lawrence. He was also able to weave a delightful pastiche incorporating his mimicry of the redoutable Donald Wolfit from his play Divine Mountebank. Campbell Kay undoubtedly ensured that this literary event was a notable success." - From a review of Inspired By A True Story by Commodore Ronald Sandford, CBE, Crail Festival Committee.
